The Role

We're seeking a Data & Analytics Lead to build our data infrastructure and drive strategic decisions through analytics. You'll work directly with leadership to shape our product, pricing, and expansion strategies while building the intelligence layer for our three-sided marketplace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build ML models for brand-store matching, sales predictions, and pricing optimization
• Design routing algorithms and territory optimization for 1,000+ field sales reps
• Create data infrastructure using Snowflake, dbt, and Metabase
• Define and track marketplace health metrics (GMV, liquidity, unit economics)
• Lead weekly business reviews and present insights to leadership
• Partner with CEO on strategic initiatives and market expansion
• Build predictive models for inventory patterns and store-level economics

Technical Requirements:

• 6+ years in data/analytics roles with demonstrable business impact
• Advanced Python (production ML models, not just notebooks)
• Expert SQL skills with large-scale datasets
• Experience with modern data stack (Snowflake, dbt, Metabase/Looker)
• Strong statistical modeling and A/B testing capabilities
• Track record building 0-1 data infrastructure

Preferred Experience:

• Marketplace analytics (Uber, DoorDash, Instacart, Amazon, Faire)
• Retail/CPG analytics (Walmart, Target, Kroger)
• Geospatial analysis and routing optimization
• B2B SaaS metrics and sales operations analytics
• Experience with three-sided marketplace dynamics
