Sharpcontra is currently seeking a detail-oriented and driven Event Coordinator to join our Austin-based team. The ideal candidate will manage the planning and execution of diverse events, ensuring every detail is handled professionally and efficiently. This position requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute events from conception to completion

  • Collaborate with clients to determine event goals, timelines, and budgets

  • Source and negotiate with vendors, venues, and suppliers

  • Manage event logistics including scheduling, staffing, and setup

  • Oversee on-site event operations to ensure smooth execution

  • Monitor post-event feedback and compile reports

  • Handle multiple events simultaneously while meeting deadlines

Qualifications



Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or related field

  • 2+ years of experience in event planning or coordination

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management tools

  • Availability to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed
