Job Description

A leading Boston-based pharmaceutical company specializing in rare disease therapeutics is seeking a Temporary Executive Assistant to support the Chief Medical Officer. This full-time role is Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with four days in-office in Boston, and one remote day per week. The position is available for an immediate start and pays $40/hour. While temporary to start, there is potential to convert to a permanent role based on performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-level administrative support to the Chief Medical Officer, primarily remote
• Manage complex calendar scheduling across time zones
• Coordinate internal and external meetings, travel, and logistics
• Prepare itineraries, correspondence, presentations, and reports
• Liaise with internal departments and leadership teams
• Handle sensitive information with discretion
• Support ad hoc and special projects as needed

Candidate Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of Executive Assistant experience
• Recent experience in the biotech or biopharma industry is required
• Proven success supporting C-level executives in fast-paced settings
• Strong technical proficiency (Microsoft Office, Zoom, Teams)
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work hybrid and support West Coast-based leadership
