Job Description:

Core Responsibilities:

• Architect, design, and deliver data solutions for products/projects and ongoing sustenance through team coordination.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in data engineering technologies and practices.
• Drive adoption of emerging tools and technologies to ensure solutions remain cutting-edge and meet quality/client standards.
• Mentor and develop team members to ensure a skilled talent pipeline and reduce delivery risks.
• Collaborate with clients to gather technical and business requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.
• Review and validate project deliverables for quality, completeness, and alignment with client expectations.
• Recommend and implement industry best practices for data architecture and value-adding client initiatives.

Technical Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for ingesting data from various structured/unstructured sources into data warehouses or lakes.
• Develop and maintain data models, schemas , and documentation to support BI, analytics, and machine learning use cases.
• Optimize database performance through tuning queries, indexing, and partitioning strategies.
• Implement robust data governance policies around quality, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to support ML model development and deployment workflows.
• Build and manage DevOps/DataOps CI/CD pipelines for automated code integration and deployment.
• Integrate data from third-party applications and APIs with internal systems and databases.
• Lead efforts on technical design documentation, SLA definition , and system support protocols.

Train and mentor junior engineers, promoting best practices in data engineering, DevOps, and pipeline management
