Mobile Developer – Philadelphia, PA (On-site/Hybrid)

Overview:

We’re looking for an experienced Mobile Developer to join our team in Philadelphia. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience developing native mobile apps for iOS or Android and be ready to collaborate across cross-functional teams to deliver world-class mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with designers, testers, product managers, and other developers across the organization.
• Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, including designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining applications.
• Develop new features for existing products and build new applications from the ground up.
• Support and customize current applications and assist with software updates and rollouts.
• Work alongside QA teams to ensure applications meet specifications and quality standards.
• Research competitive apps and industry trends to inform and guide product development decisions.
• Maintain awareness of new tools, trends, and best practices in mobile development.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or equivalent technical field.
• 8+ years of professional experience in developing native mobile applications for iOS or Android across various devices and OS versions.
• Proven track record of releasing at least 3 major apps on Google Play or the Apple App Store.
• Strong understanding of the complete software development cycle (specification, design, implementation, QA, release, and maintenance).
• Solid coding skills with the ability to deliver high-quality code following best practices.
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery Mobile, Node.js, Angular.
• Experience with ASP.Net, HTML, JSON, XML, and strong grasp of Agile/Scrum and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Proficiency in performance optimization including efficient data loading, video playback, and resource management.
• Expert knowledge of agile processes, data-driven development , and experimentation methodologies.

Nice to Have:

• Cross-platform development experience (e.g., React Native, Flutter ) is a plus.
• Prior work on consumer-facing apps with a large user base.
• Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
