Job Description

Our client, a Dallas based private school, is looking to add an Accountant. The company boasts an excellent work/life balance (8 weeks vacation and holidays), beautiful offices, and a very easy going culture.

Under the direction of the Controller, the Accountant assists with the day to day operations of accounting and Accounts Receivable for the school, ensuring their timely billing, collections, reporting and accuracy. Duties include:

• Manage setup, billing and maintenance of tuition, incidental fees and speech billing plans.
• Record and reconcile all sources of revenue and related payments. This includes all auxiliary revenue, charitable donations and any other revenue/payments.
• Monitor all outstanding balances and follow up on delinquent accounts.
• Assist with month-end closing and audits.

Requirements:

• 3+ years accounting experience
• Associate’s Degree required, Bachelor’s preferred
• Accounts Receivable experience preferred
