Description: Sterling Medical is looking for full-time seeking full-time Sterile Processing Technician at the Aurora, Colorado, VA Medical Center. *Position offers:* Excellent Pay Full Benefits 11 Paid Holidays 2 Weeks of PTO *Job Type: *Full-time Positions may be assigned with rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and will be determined by the VA Medical Center. Overtime may be requested on rare occasions. Sterile Processing Technicians should possess at least two years of recent experience as a Sterile Processing Service Technician. Must possess either a HSPA Certification or a CBSPD Certification. Additionally, the Sterile Processing Technician must possess at least a high school education. The SPS technician will provide support within the Sterile Processing Department. The SPS technician staff will reprocess reusable medical equipment for Dental, Ear Nose & Throat (ENT) clinic, Gastroenterology (GI) and Operating Room (OR) Departments that are inclusive of decontamination, preparing instruments inclusive of sets/kits for sterilization and the transport of instruments to and from the Dental, ENT, GI and OR Departments.
