Math and Reading Intervention Teacher

Part-Time | Broward County, FL

Position Details:

• School Year
• Grades K-12 (varies depending on school)
• Part-time (10-25 hours per week)
• Full-time (30-35 hours per week)
• Schools located throughout Broward County

Responsibilities

As a teacher with Catapult Learning, you will:

• Instruct small groups in Reading/ELA and Math across multiple grade levels in a face-to-face school setting, focusing on intervention.
• Deliver instructional models in readiness, reading, mathematics, and writing skills using company-designed materials.
• Develop and maintain individualized lesson plans tailored to student needs.
• Ensure student supervision at all times, including safe transitions between classrooms.
• Perform timely data entry for attendance, testing, progress reports, and compliance documentation.
• Schedule and attend parent meetings/conferences.
• Maintain student records as required by various agencies.
• Communicate consistently with supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs.
• Engage students by fostering ownership and critical thinking.
• Embrace professional growth through training and feedback.
• Track student progress and maintain accurate academic records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

We are looking for a positive, enthusiastic teacher who meets the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher.
• Valid and current FL Teaching Certificate/Statement of Eligibility.
• Classroom teaching, internship, or tutoring experience.
• Willingness to teach both Math and Reading/ELA across various grade levels.
• Ability to navigate online platforms for record keeping and communication.
• A strong belief that all children can learn.
• A passion for helping students succeed!
